The SHIMANO RX880 carbon fiber wheelset weighs 64 grams per pair than the previous generation and uses the same shallow 32 mm rim height, providing faster acceleration and climbing capabilities.

The low-profile design also ensures enhanced handling in crosswinds, and these tubeless wheels use a modern 25 mm internal rim width, allowing the use of tires up to 50 mm wide. The RX880 uses the DIRECT ENGAGEMENT rear of the DURA-ACE wheels Hub structure improves transmission rigidity.

This wheel set also comes with 2 different types of Bordeaux tubes, HG spline L2 Bordeaux tubes for road bikes, and supports the use of 11-51T XT and XTR cassettes MICRO SPLINE Bordeaux tubes.
