The TEMPO ARGO R1 is a versatile endurance road saddle with a short nose design and wide sit bone support to help improve stability.

While traditional saddle shapes encourage the rider to change positions frequently for better leverage, the Argo places the rider in a more secure position, providing better stability and weight distribution.

The Argo is our most versatile saddle shape, with each version suitable for different riding styles. Designed as an endurance riding option, the Tempo Argo is designed to provide a riding feel that's consistent with the balanced geometry of a modern all-around road bike.

The short length of the Tempo Argo allows the rider to sit further forward without putting excessive pressure on sensitive tissues. It also features an ergonomic cut, developed through detailed stress analysis and input from medical experts.

The seat cushion is filled with fizik's exclusive Type 2 foam formula and is slightly thicker in the sit bone support area to support a more upright riding position. This padding is slightly softer and more progressive than the type we use on race saddles, providing comfort for longer rides.
