The evolution of digital 3D printing technology has allowed Fizik to develop a new saddle that is not restricted by traditional production methods and materials. Adaptive saddle padding uses Carbon's revolutionary digital light synthesis technology. Digital photosynthesis is an additive manufacturing process that utilizes digital UV light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with superior mechanical properties, resolution, and surface finishes.

Customized partition buffering

Using Carbon technology, biomechanists and engineers have unprecedented possibilities: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, individually adjusting the specific mechanical properties of each zone. Each key functional area is engineered with unique cushioning and mechanical response, gradually and seamlessly connecting within the same padding.

Laboratory testing and road validation

Tested by professional cyclists and amateur cyclists in Fizik laboratories and on the road. At every stage of development, each iteration is carefully tested. Fizik paid special attention to the impact of different bike geometries, riding positions and riding styles on pressure distribution.
