Riding Tern to visit the village and meeting the newborn cow B
Ride a small tern and enter the country road in Sheung Shui.
The natural beauty of cycling in the countryside of the New Territories is comparable to the style of a European small town. As long as you choose the right time and place, and add a little luck, you will have an unexpected cycling experience. On this trip, the editor rode a white folding Tern and easily traveled through De Yue Lou Village in the suburbs of Sheung Shui. He actually met a newborn cow for the first time, and spent a wonderful trip in the afternoon sunshine.
Riding Tern and bathing in Deyuelou countryside, I happened to encounter a large herd of cattle.
De Yuet Lou Village on the Sheung Shui border, located on the border of Luo Wu, was originally a border restricted area. It was one of the six villages opened to the public in 2013. The other villages include Lio Bo Village , Xin Yi Sun Village , Ma Cao Lung Village, Lok Ma Chau Village and Ha Wan Village . Deyuelou Village is the closest village to the Luohu border restricted area, only 500 meters away.

This time I chose to ride a white small folding Tern . The 20- inch tires are small and flexible. It can be rolled onto country roads. The flat handlebar makes it comfortable to ride and allows you to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Equipped with a hydraulic disc brake, the brake only needs to be pressed lightly with your fingers, reducing hand fatigue when riding for a long time.
Many cyclists form groups to make the pilgrimage to the cows.
I have the experience of visiting Yue Lou Village many times. The best time to encounter cattle is around 4 pm. I cycled along the left bank of Beas River from Sheung Shui Bike Trail to Wutong River. The road was cool and green, and passed by the newly established gate. , arrived at a large piece of grass in front of the police post in Deyuelou Village. The setting sun was shining brightly, and it was the first time I encountered such a large herd of cattle. Dozens of big cows and calves were lying or grazing, giving the place a European town feel. Many beautiful girls got out of the car to check in and take pictures. Of course, the editor would not miss it. I took Xiaozhe to the grassland to take selfies with the cows and play with the calves.

Newborn calf shows great vitality
The leisurely scenery of Ng Tung River in Sheung Shui.
The most unexpected thing was that I found a thin calf standing up under the shade of a tree. After a closer look, I saw that the hair on the cow's body was still wet. It turned out to be a newly born calf , struggling to stand up in the sun, showing its... Strong vitality. The editor witnessed a newborn calf in the wild for the first time, a rare experience of riding in the countryside.
