Unlike the C36 and C50, the C60 uses Shimano OPTBAL 2:1 wire braiding to create a special front hub design to increase lateral rigidity. The C60 also uses a stiffer 1.8 mm wire instead of 1.5 mm. Tested by professional athletes, the C60's lateral stiffness lets you pedal harder when cornering or maneuvering at high speeds. Finally, the new wind tunnel-tested deep-section rims have a faster and more stable cross-section, making them the perfect choice for time trial, triathlon and sprint racers.
