Kaliente Pro is a racing tire developed by Kenda in collaboration with the elite UCI professional road racing team. Producing the absolute lightest tire is not our goal. Instead, we set out to create a tire that was a race-friendly weight and had the puncture protection of bead-t-beads. We've used Iron Cloak puncture protection under the R2C compound, adding flat protection and longevity while still providing excellent handling characteristics.
